Senior Manager in Global Tax Management’s International Tax Practice

Chad is a Senior Manager in Global Tax Management’s International Tax Practice. He is a proud Paraguayan who was born in Asunción and raised in Lima, Ohio. Chad focuses on providing international quantitative and compliance services as well as international tax planning to Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining GTM, Chad was a tax manager at Chubb Insurance and EY. Chad is a frequent speaker on international tax matters at forums like the Tax Executives Institute and he leads various internal and client focused tax sessions. Additionally, Chad leads several key accounts critical to the firm’s growth.

Chad lives in Philadelphia where, in addition to his tax career, he is an adjunct professor at Rosemont College teaching intermediate and advanced finance & accounting courses to undergraduate students. Furthermore Chad is deeply involved in the Association of Latino Professionals for America (“ALPFA”), the nation’s largest Latino professional organization with more than 92,000 members across the U.S. Highlights of his time with ALPFA include serving on the local board of directors for the Columbus and Philadelphia Chapters, & in particular serving as ALPFA Philadelphia President from 2017 to 2019. Under Chad’s leadership as Chapter President, the Philadelphia Chapter was awarded 2019 Chapter of the Year for its exceptional growth and creation of many key signature programs that continue to provide value to ALPFA members and have since been successfully cascaded to many chapters across the nation. Chad currently sits on the ALPFA National Board of Directors where he helps guide the organization’s culture and strategic focus, ensure its financial sustainability, & serve as an ambassador to the organization’s stakeholders.

Throughout Chad’s career, he has always held a strong resolve to volunteer his time within the community by serving on non-profit boards ranging in size from $100,000 to $15M in revenues. In 2020, he was named to Philadelphia’s 40 Under 40 list by AL DÍA News Media. In his spare time, Chad likes to engage with community leaders to create meaningful change, travel in Latin America, snowboard, scuba dive, and visit family in Ohio & Los Angeles.
