Spring Social Fundraiser - April 28, 2016

ALPFA NY gathered professional and student members alike to enjoy an engaging evening of networking at the Monarch Rooftop Lounge to kick off this year’s upcoming events.  ALPFA NY hosted the first fundraiser of the year to aid the Student Leader Fund which helps student leaders attend the 44th Annual ALPFA Convention in Dallas. 100% of proceeds went to benefit the ALFPA NY students.

In addition, attendees generously donated to the ALPFA NY Ecuador Earthquake Relief drive. Thanks to everyone's participation we were able to fill several boxes of first aid materials, toiletries, and clothing to send to Ecuador. We partnered up with the Ecuadorian Consulate to deliver these goods to the families effected by this unfortunate disaster.

The night was a success with a mix of networking and benevolence. We had a fantastic outcome and look forward to seeing you at our next event.

It was a powerful breakfast with the theme of women trailblazers in the past and present, the conversation starting with how we can serve the community and help elevate the women’s community as leaders that opened up to engaging conversations amongst all present. The breakfast ended with an action plan from Pete Rodriguez and another follow up breakfast in the works so we can continue elevating our women’s communities together. It is a commitment that everyone in the room made together and with that, we are rising to new heights together.
