 ALPFA Student Convention Experience

As valued members of the organization, ALPFA Premium Student members are invited to attend ALPFA’s Annual Meeting and Convention with a substantially subsidized registration discounted to only $250 (plus room and travel) opening the opportunity for them to attend workshops, private partner receptions, Scholarship Luncheon, and of course, the annual Career Fair.

Note Career Fair only is available to Premium Student members for only $20. Basic and non-members is $50 and includes a one-year Premium student membership for students.

In addition, all students will be able to watch the KPMG Case Study competition finals, get in front of recruiters during the resume critique, experience the Deloitte Road Show, and enjoy career-empowering programming at two special Lunch and Learns hosted by RSM. The 2015 Lunch and Learn theme was “Your First 100 Days” helping students understand their immediate transition into the workplace. This year’s theme will be announced soon.

UPDATE: ALPFA has negotiated very attractive hotel rates with multiple hotels. Students may book a maximum of four (4) students per room (additional fee applies).

2016-2017 Academic Scholarship 

ALPFA is proud to announce it's Annual Scholarship Program for the 2016-2017 academic year open to ALPFA student membersScholarships range from $2,000 to $10,000. 

Scholarships will be awarded at the Scholarship Luncheon.

Application Deadline: Sunday, May 15, 2016 (by Midnight PST)

As Latinos continue to grow their purchasing power of more than $1.4 trillion, brands must adapt to the new Hispanic consumer mainstream. While some retail brands have already recognized the importance of Latino consumer support to their bottom line, accepting their presence and strength is the new reality for all brands operating in the U.S. today.

The strong contributions that Latinos make to the U.S. economy is undeniable. However, as important as Latinos are to the U.S. today, corporate and private foundations have failed to invest accordingly. We must increase private, corporate, and public giving and philanthropy to equal Latinos presence in the workforce and impact on the economy.
