Enna is a senior IT and Business Professional with expertise in Quality Assurance Management and Team Restructuring and Transformation. Her career spans over 25 years of working in multiple industries such as financial services, education, advertising and many software and startup companies. Currently, Enna is Vice President, Quality Engineering Director at Eastern Bank and is responsible for the management and leadership of the enterprise Quality Assurance team. Her role will be to create and implement processes for manual and automation tests for the online and mobile banking systems. Enna started a 2-year term as President, ALPFA Boston chapter. ALPFA, Association of Latino Professionals For America, was established over 40 years ago and its mission is to empower and develop Latino men and women as leaders of character for the nation, in every sector of the global economy. Enna has a huge passion for Diversity and Inclusion, talent engagement and community organizations. She was the recipient of the Year Up Outstanding Manager Award in January 2014.
Enna was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico and her parents are from Dominican Republic. She lives in Roslindale, MA and is the proud mother of 4 amazing kids Katrina 17, Moises 18, Justin 21 and Mario Jr 28, and a granddaughter of 3.
Caro Ruiz works at Tufts Health Plan (THP) as a Corporate Strategy Manager where she leads strategic assessments to grow THP’s existing business. Previously, she was the Product Planning and Strategy Manager for Senior Products at THP where she established the strategic direction of the product portfolio and assisted with new product and geographic assessment. She also worked at BCBSMA for nine years where she held different roles such as Commercial Product Manager and Senior Business Analyst for the Medicare Advantage product line. Caro leads the Women Together Business Resource Group at THP and is part of the Executive Committee of the Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA). She has been involved with the ALPFA Boston Chapter since 2009 and held different roles; with the most recent being Advisor to the Executive Committee Team. Caro has a Masters’ degree in Science with a concentration in Health Care Informatics and a Certificate in Project Management from Northeastern University. She also has a Systems Engineering Bachelor’s Degree from the Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela.
Glenda Ciampa is an IT Quality Assurance Manager of the MassMutual Financial Company. She also serves in three Diversity and Inclusion committees, MassMutual Technology and Administration, MassMutual Latino’s BRG ALMMA.
Glenda has worked for Corporate America for 20 years. She started as an Intern and worked up to a Director of Technology. Currently she works as an IT Quality Assurance Manager as she leads the team with Agile and DevOps principles to assure quality standards are met. Glenda is committed to Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. In the committees and in the board she serves she works with leaders to integrate ideas and support changes that relates to the organization’s mission.
Glenda is also a real estate investor. She has focused on buying property in the Boston and New Hampshire areas. Glenda is married to Marco and has two beautiful daughters, Arianna and Isabella.
With over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, Jorge seeks to inspire the next wave of Latino professionals. Mr. Flores began his career in banking at the retail level and quickly climbed the ranks to corporate banking where he spent the better part of 8 years gaining valuable experience working with business clients spanning across a multitude of industries.
Jorge joined Trilogy Financial in 2013 as a Wealth Advisor and has had notable success in building his practice around the concept of “same side of the table” advising with his clients; placing on emphasis on fiduciary planning (looking out for his clients’ best interest above all) and client experience. Following a structured process and personalizing his client meetings has earned him the ability to sustain a referral- only practice. Another area that Mr. Flores focuses on is working with privately- held businesses and their owners to design employee benefit programs, executive compensation, protection planning.
In his personal life, Jorge’s interests include spending time outdoors hiking, mountain biking, playing competitive tennis, and engaging in thoughtful debate about world affairs. Exploring new cultures is also something that Jorge and his wife Katie find fascinating; they have found that gastronomy is one of the best ways to learning about a country and its customs. Jorge speaks Spanish, French and is developing fluency in German. Earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida with a concentration in International Business and a minor in Marketing. He also holds advanced certifications in Corporate Financial Analysis and Commercial Credit and Underwriting. Current licenses include FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 and in the process of pursuing his CFP designation.

She has led special social projects for international organizations and corporations like: Ford Foundation, Walmart Foundation, AMGEN Foundation, ATT Corporation, among other social investors. During her role as Deputy Advisor to the First Lady of Puerto Rico, she led the establishment of the Governor’s Commission on Community Service and Volunteerism. Yarice’s diverse experience comes from working in national recognized organizations such as City Year to working in private initiatives highlighted in research studies that have impacted public policy, such as: Tobin Family Center studied by Radcliffe University. She has served as a strategic and program development consultant for several nonprofits in Boston and Puerto Rico.
In 2000, she was awarded a New England Regional Emmy for two Public Service Campaigns for the Latino Parent Association and Latino Health Institute in Boston. In 2005, The Council of Foundation recognized her with the Emerging Philanthropic Leadership Award and received an Excel Award for the revamping of the Puerto Rico Community Foundation image. During this year, she also created the Green Philanthropic Ribbon (social awareness icon) adopted by Mexico, St. Lucia, Panamá, United States and Puerto Rico. In 2010, she was the President of the First Rotary EClub of Puerto Rico and Latin America and in 2012 she was the Secretary of the National Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Puerto Rico.
In 2014, Yarice was part of Clinton Global Initiative delegation for Puerto Rico. Author of the article: Employee-driven Social Programs Mean Stronger Businesses published in Color Magazine. Yarice serves as an advisor to the Massachusetts Relief Efforts promoted by the Boston Latino Legacy Fund established at the Boston Foundation. She is currently the Director of Corporate Engagement at Citizen Schools and advisor to Fundación José Jaime Pierluisi. Her bachelor degree in Communications and Economy is from Boston University and holds a master degree in Philanthropy and the Media from Suffolk University.
She lives in Arlington, MA with her husband and three children. She considers her daughter Gabriella – 22 years old, her son Diego – 16 years old, and youngest girl Sarah – 9 years old to be her special life projects and most important contribution to society.
Mario is originally from New Jersey and comes from a family of six. He is the oldest of the four children and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor's of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University. Mario was first introduced to ALPFA in college, where he went on to found the first Ivy League undergraduate chapter of ALPFA and serve as its first president.
He rose membership to a level that made it one of the most popular Latino undergraduate organizations. Mario began his career with as a summer intern with UBS and was extended an offer to return post-graduation for their two year Graduate Talent Program. Following the GTP, Mario because a Banking Sales Specialist out of the UBS home office in Weehawken, New Jersey. Then in 2015, Mario was offered the role of Assistant Market Head for the Private Wealth Management office of UBS in Boston where he continues to work now. In 2016, El Mundo Boston recognized Mario as one of their Latino 30 Under 30.
Isis Ortiz is a credit risk, investment and underwriting professional with 8 years in the financial services and investment and commercial banking space. She is currently a Vice President, Portfolio Manager at Citizens Bank where she actively manages a portfolio of middle market clients with annual revenues in excess of $25 million. Prior to that, Isis held positions at Santander Bank N.A. and John Hancock Financial Services where she spent five years in the Bond and Corporate Finance Group.
Most recently, Isis has accepted a position as the Vice President, Corporate Relations for the Boston chapter of the Association of Latinos Professionals for America ("ALPFA"). Isis has a rich educational background, having graduated with a B.A. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Business Management from Emmanuel College in 2009. While there, she received several honors including the Who’s Who Among Students and Campus Life Awards. In 2006 she was inducted into the college’s Alpha Delta Honor Society. Thereafter, Isis received her Master of Science in Finance from New England College of Business in 2012. In the fall of 2014 she received the McCallum Leadership Scholar Award through ALPFA. She went on to earn her MBA from Bentley University McCallum Graduate School of Business in August 2016.
On her free time Isis enjoys spending quality time with her nieces and nephew and practicing hot power yoga. She was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico and her parents are from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Isis currently resides with her partner in Lawrence, MA
Busola is the Vice President, Financial Institutions Analyst within the Investment Portfolio Management team in Global Treasury. In this capacity, she monitors investments in financial institutions for State Street Bank’s investment portfolio and performs deep dive financial analyses and peer reviews of financial institutions for use by State Street management team.
Prior to joining State Street in 2011, Busola worked in the Nigerian banking as well as oil and gas sectors. She worked both in the Asset and Liabilities Management and Currency Trading units of NAL Bank Plc. (now Sterling Bank Plc.) and Access Bank Plc., respectively. She then proceeded to work with Zenon Petroleum and Gas Limited as the CFO in 2005 and in that capacity was instrumental in the company’s acquisition of African Petroleum Plc. (now Forte Oil Plc.), formerly owned by the Nigerian government.
Graduated with a B.Sc. Honors in Biochemistry from the University of Lagos in 1997. She thereafter obtained an MBA degree in Finance from the same university in 2002 and became an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, having completed the institute’s professional examinations in 2001. Busola also obtained a Master’s degree in International Business from the Fletcher School, Tufts University in May 2011 with concentration in International Finance and Banking. An active participant in State Street’s employee network groups and is currently one of the five members of the Steering Committee of State Street Latin American Professionals Group and in that capacity pioneered annual internetwork sports championship in 2015.
