The Women of ALPFA award will be awarded to an individual who over a period of time has
enthusiastically promoted the advancement of Latinas and who personifies the qualities prized in
successful professionals: leadership, vision, and character.
The Servant Leadership Award recognizes an outstanding member that has excelled in their service,
contribution and leadership to ALPFA.
The recipient of this award MUST be of Latino heritage. Achievements meeting the following criteria will
be considered when reviewing the qualifications
of the candidates. Though achievement in each of the 5 criterion is preferred, achievement in all
criterion will not be required.
The Veteran of the Year award is presented to one Latino/a individual who is a US veteran that
exemplifies courage, honor and is a beacon for other Latinos to follow.
