Lynnette Perez-Santos
Director of Corporate Development

Lynnette is a single mom of 3 kids, 20, 18, and 12.  Primary role is a mom; the baseball mom, the soccer mom, the dance mom.  Lynnette is both committed and passionate about engaging and exposing her kids to the broader spectrum of what leadership means and the importance.  When not spending time with her family, Lynnette is a working professional, currently in the Philadelphia’s Independence Blue Cross corporate office as a Lead Business Analyst.  For the last 3 years in this position she has managed a team of 5, performing various duties including monthly reconciliation; managing over 20 accounts and due daily, monthly and quarterly reporting.  In addition, her team reconciles the accounts receivable to ensure they stay in good standing.  Prior to this role Lynnette was employed at Houghton International as a Senior Accountant where she managed accounts for US and Mexico.   In her current role, Lynnette has been an ambassador to making the connection between ALPFA and IBX gained traction toward becoming a sponsor.   In previous roles, Lynnette has served as Chair a Co-Chair of Latino ERG for ING served as an ambassador for ING, ARAMARK and currently for Independence Blue Cross, which continues to increase her exposure to the insurance industry in roles that allow her to enhance skills and gain more responsibilities. Her goals include, managing multiple accounts, multi-tasking, being highly motivated and project oriented, and mentorship. Lynnette has been a proud Lifetime Member of ALPFA since 2007. She has served on the Philadelphia Chapter as Membership Director, Vice President and President. Currently she remains volunteering on the local chapter‘s Corporate Advisory Board. Where as a member she has demonstrated commitment to diversity/inclusion to ALPFA’s mission of developing Latino business leaders and has a proven track record as a leader and a volunteer. She leverages her experience to provide strategic advice to ALPFA Philadelphia’s Board leadership as well as her network and influence to further ALPFA Philadelphia’s mission.  This has led to expanding her skills set to the WoA Strategic Development Team in the role of Director of Corporate Development.  This role has given her the opportunity to work closely with the National Office; expanding her communication and project management skills.

Marie Robles
Chapter Engagement Lead

A Certified Public Accountant, Marie’s financial expertise spans over 20 years in both the private and public sectors. While juggling accounting, auditing, acquisitions, budgeting, and cash management responsibilities, she served as the Vice President and President for the Washington DC Chapter and is currently serving as Programs Director on the Women of ALPFA Strategy Development Committee. Marie is currently the Vice President/Controller at Northwest Federal Credit Union. Prior roles include, Funds Accounting Manager at Navy Federal Credit Union, Accounting Manager of Domestic Operations at Verisign, Inc., Director in the Single Family Segment Controller Department at Freddie Mac Corporation, Corporate Accounting Manager at E*Trade Bank, and Controller/Treasurer, Director of Financial Reporting, and Accounting Manager for SAIC Venture Capital Corporation. In those roles she has worked on setting up and streamlining accounting reporting, processes and procedures and also worked on projects including risk assessment and the documentation of risks and controls for compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act. Marie Robles graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and continued her education with the University of Phoenix acquiring a Master of Business Administration.

Jenny Cepeda
WOA Day Lead

Jenny Cepeda is a Project Manager for BNY Mellon - Wealth Management Business Strategy and Operations. In addition to her day job, she also serves as the chair of BNY Mellon's VetNet New England, co-chair of IMPACT New England, and on the Wealth Management New England Diversity Committee. Prior to her current role, she provided administrative support to the Executive Director of Business Development for Wealth Management, as well as the Chief Financial Officer for Wealth Management and Asset Servicing. She was the Boston Finance Team Business Continuity Leader, and a member of the BNY Mellon Investment Management Finance Employee Engagement Committee, where she served as the Newsletter Editor and Coordinator. She’s currently a Member of the Women of ALPFA Strategic Development Committee, where she is the Lead of WOA Day at the convention. Prior to this role Jenny served as Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of the Events committees for the ALPFA Boston Chapter. Jenny is also passionate about literature and provides strategic feedback to several best-selling authors before publishing their books. Jenny has a strong passion and dedication to ALPFA’s Mission and Vision. She has worked closely with other BNY Mellon colleagues on the expansion of BNY Mellon’s ALPFA Connectivity Group, a group dedicated to keeping employees engaged in ALPFA’s mission through networking, career development, coaching and mentoring. Jenny holds a Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Phoenix. She’s currently pursuing a master in public administration.

Valerie Peyton
Website Lead

A baseball collector at heart and unbeknownst to her, the ALPFAmilia would find Valerie during her undergraduate studies at the University of New Mexico while being a new young mother. She became a member of the ALPFA Student Chapter at the University of New Mexico in 2003, and that same year, she was able to attend the 2003 ALPFA Convention in Albuquerque thanks to a scholarship awarded by HSF/ALPFA. Impressed with the quality of the programming at the ALPFA Convention, she increased her involvement with ALPFA and became treasurer and Vice President of the ALPFA UNM Chapter. She even participated as a contestant for the KPMG Case Study Competition! Because of her efforts and dedication to ALPFA, Valerie was offered the Secretary position with the ALPFA Albuquerque Professional Board after she completed her MBA, she was nominated for President which she held for seven years, and she now holds the Past President and Interim, Director of Corporate Development positions for the ALPFA Albuquerque Professional Chapter. She sees ALPFA as an organization that allows members to give back to their respective communities. With ALPFA, she has been able to grow personally and professionally, and she “hope[s] to provide others with the same incredible opportunity to grow in their respective careers. “ Valerie is currently the Business Office Lead in the Nuclear Weapons Program Management Unit at Sandia National Laboratories. She double majored in Finance and Accounting and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico, and she also holds an MBA in Accounting from her alma mater.

Gineth Pineda
Recruiting Strategy Lead

A proud Colombiana, lover of salsa, hip-hop and everything in between, Gineth has been a proud Lifetime ALPFA member since 2011. However, her experience with the ALPFAmilia began in 2008 as a Student Member. Throughout her years with ALPFA, she has held various leadership positions such as Treasurer, Executive Vice President, and Director of Corporate Affairs within the Seattle Chapter. Most recently, she began serving as a Committee Member of the Student Development Committee for the New York City Chapter, where she now resides. Her passion in service within the community has led her to become a mentor for high school students, previously in the Seattle School District through the Community for Youth Program, and currently in New York through Latino U. She is also highly involved with New York Cares, volunteering at various capacities, and has been a returning volunteer at Farestart, Arts West Performing Center, and United Way of King County through the Free Tax Preparation Campaign, Community Resource Exchange, Emerging Leaders, and Project LEAD, where she had the opportunity to fine tune on her leadership skills. Gineth has been in the financial services industry for over eight years, centering on credit risk. Currently, she serves as an Associate within Morgan Stanley’s Credit Risk Management team supporting the Private Bank’s Tailored Lending group. Previously, she was a Senior Credit Analyst within the Commercial Lending team at Peoples Bank of Washington, and Commercial Credit Analyst at Washington Federal in Seattle. Gineth graduated from Gonzaga University with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a double major in Finance and International Business.

Ashley Alonso Harrison
Social Media Lead

Ashley Harrison is a 2014 alumna of Tennessee Technological University. She received her Bachelors of Science in International Business with a concentration in Spanish. Post-graduation, she began working at Deloitte Services LLP in May of 2014, as Production Advisor for live broadcast streaming events in the Chief Technology Office (CTO) as part of the Information Technology Services organization. She is responsible for managing, coordinating, and planning live streaming events for the US Firm. Prior to beginning her career at Deloitte, Ashley interned with the Multimedia Services department for three consecutive summers. Her role over those summers included Video Conference engineer and Video Conference customer service representative. Within those roles, she was responsible for establishing video conference connections and monitoring video conferences (up to 16 worldwide locations at a time), fielding inquiry calls, troubleshooting, and documenting customer issues. In addition to her day to day job, Ashley also participates in a number of professional organizations such as (BDPA) Black Data Processing Association, (GLF) Global Leadership Forum, and locally serves as the Co-Chair of Deloitte’s Hermitage chapter of the Hispanic Network (HNet). In college, Ashley was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, and held several positions within the chapter including Girl Scout chairwoman, where she planned events to instill and encourage confidence in young women by engaging local Girl Scout troops and hosting them on campus. During her time within the organization, she was very active in fund raising for Prevent Child Abuse America. In addition to fundraising, Ashley enjoys giving back, and has provided philanthropic service to a number of nonprofit organizations such as the Huntsman Cancer Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Research, Children’s Miracle Network, and the Ronald McDonald House. In her free time, Ashley loves to read, cook, and spend time with her family.
