Yaneth Gonzalez
Co-Chair

Hailing from Monterrey, Mexico, Yaneth is a proud Lifetime ALPFA member who has been involved with the organization since 2004. During her time with ALPFA, she has served as the Seattle Chapter President, winning two West Region Professional Chapter of the Year accolades in 2010 and 2011 during her tenure. She was also at the forefront of the pilot Women of ALPFA mentoring program between ALPFA’s female chapter leaders and ALPFA’s Corporate Advisory Board members. Currently, she is a fundamental piece as the Co-chair for Women of ALPFA’s Strategic Development Committee. She likes to spend her professional time as an Audit Manager within the Internal Audit group at Microsoft where she plans and implements successful audits for the execution of the annual audit plan. Other professional experiences include: consulting manager with LMC Consulting Group, accounting manager for the Compleat Company, and as an experienced associate in the Assurance practice for PricewaterhouseCoopers. Yaneth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Washington Business School.



Gloria Rosal
Co-Chair

From the beautiful city of Caracas, Venezuela, Gloria brings years of financial expertise as the Co-Chair of the Strategic Development Committee for the Women of ALPFA. She was a former Board of Directors of ALPFA Boston member. During her tenure with ALPFA Boston, she served as the Vice-President of Corporate Relationships where she managed 50 corporate partners, resulting in a 52% increase in revenues through the chapter’s fundraising efforts. Gloria Rosal has been awarded the Manny Espinoza Servant Leadership Award, from Wal-Mart Stores Inc., to attend the National Hispanic Corporate Council’s Corporate Executive Development Program at Southern Methodist University-Cox School of Business. While in Venezuela, Gloria worked for Xerox Venezuela for over nine years starting in the Corporate Finance and Operations division and reaching Finance and Administration Manager Position. After moving to the United States, she worked for State Street Corporation where she gained extensive experience in credit and risk management through her various work with the Credit and Risk Office for the Alternative Investments division, the Enterprise Risk Management division, and the Global Markets Division. Currently, Gloria is a Portfolio Manager for the Private Equity Banking Group of RBS Citizens Financial Group. Gloria graduated from Universidad Santa Maria with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting. She received her MBA degree from Northeastern University and earned a Graduate Certificate in Administration and Management from Harvard University.

Lynnette Perez-Santos
Director of Corporate Development

Lynnette’s professional trajectory spans across a variety of industries including managing 100 accounts as the Senior Accountant for the K-12 Education Accounting team for the Great Lakes West Region and serving as a Manager for International Netherlands Group (ING) in the Retail Life Finance Team where she managed a team of two in process improvement, SOX testing, internal audit request, performance reviews, and professional development. While in ING, Lynnette also acted as the National Chair of the ING Latino Resource Group, managing 11 chapters across the United States, Local Chair of the ING Latino Resource Group, and served as a key note contributor for the ING Diversity Advisor Council in leading diversity related initiatives. Currently, she is a Senior Accountant Lead for Houghton International. Her journey with ALPFA began in 2006 where she has served in various roles such as Membership Director, Executive Vice President and President, and now Immediate Vice President for the ALPFA Philadelphia Professional Chapter. Lynnette has been instrumental in acquiring ARAMARK to sponsor local events even serving as a Senior Accountant for the food services company. Currently, she serves as the liaison between ALPFA Philadelphia and ARAMARK and continues to be an ambassador for ARAMARK. She obtained an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Pierce Jr. College, a degree in Accounting from Chestnut Hill College, and received her MBA for Finance/Accounting from Regis University.

Diana Navas
Director of Programs

Diana is a Human Resources expert across a variety of industries including: financial services, aerospace, consumer goods, and retail. She currently holds a position as a Senior Manager in Organizational Development working specifically with Diversity Workforce and Brand for Charles Swab. As a human resources leader, she started her career with United Space Alliance as a Diversity and Compliance Administrator which led her to serving as a Senior Human Resources Representative for PepsiCo and as a Managing Human Resources Generalist for Kohl’s Department Stores. Diana Navas has shared her passion with inclusion by acting as the Executive Vice President of the San Francisco Professional ALPFA Chapter. Diana was also instrumental in the execution of the 10 year anniversary program of the Annual Women of ALPFA Summit called Building Latina Leaders Strong from the Inside Out in 2012 for the San Francisco Bay Area. To date, the event broke records as the largest event ever hosted by the chapter. She has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial Psychology from the University of Central Florida, and she obtained her degree in Master of Science in Management for the Human Resources and Change Management Track from the College of Business Administration at the University of Central Florida.

Emily Torres
Project Manager

Emily Torres held the Vice-Presidency position with the ALPFA Hartford Professional Chapter for over three years. During her tenure she increased membership and her creative and thoughtful insight led way for many successful events. Emily’s professional career started with the International Dutch Group (ING) as a Business Analyst, reaching a Sr. Business Analyst position. Within ING, Emily served on the Chair of the Windsor Latino Employee Resource Group, and she served as the National Chair for the Latino Employee Resource Group where she acted as the main ambassador and speaker. Currently, she is an Agile Scrum Master for Agile Software Delivery for Optum under the United Health Group where she is accountable for establishing and maintaining delivery cadence and for guiding roadmap implementation using common tool suites while managing a team. Before, she held an IT Systems Analyst Consultant role with the United Health Group. Emily received an Associate of Science in Business Management degree from Albertus Magnus College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from her alma mater.

Carol Braxton
Corporate Partner Lead

Carol has been with the ALPFAmilia since 2006 where acted as the Logistics Coordinator for the ALPFA Philadelphia Professional Chapter. Currently, she is a Senior Administrative Assistant for KPMG.

Marie Robles
Chapter Engagement Lead

A Certified Public Accountant, Marie’s financial expertise spans over 15 years in both the private and public sectors. While juggling accounting, auditing, acquisitions, budgeting, cash management, she served as the Vice President and President for the Washington DC Chapter. Currently, she is the Funds Accounting Manager for the Navy Federal Credit Union. Previously, she was the Accounting Manager of Domestic Operations at Verisign, Inc., the Director in the Single Family Segment Controller Department at Freddie Mac Corporation, she has worked on projects involving risk assessment and the documentation of risks and controls for compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act, as a Corporate Accounting Manager at E*Trade Bank, and as the Controller/Treasurer, Director of Financial Reporting, and Accounting Manager for SAIC Venture Capital Corporation, all at different times of course. Marie Robles graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and continued her education with the University of Phoenix acquiring a Master of Business Administration.

Jenny Cepeda
WOA Day Lead

An ALPFAholic at heart, Jenny has been a proud Lifetime ALPFA member since 2013, advocating for ALPFA’s Mission and Vision. Her long-standing relationship with ALPFA started with volunteering for the Events Committee for the ALPFA Boston Professional Chapter in 2006, and since then, she has been the Vice President of Events and Vice President of Marketing & Public Relations. Jenny is currently a Senior Administrative Assistant to the Wealth Management National Sales Director for BNY Mellon. Other roles that Jenny has pursued within BNY Mellon include acting as the senior administrative assistant to the Wealth Management CFO and the Asset Servicing Front Office CFO, Boston Finance Team Business Continuity Leader, member of the BNY Mellon Investment Management Finance Employee Engagement Committee where she served as a Project Coordinator and as the Newsletter Editor, and serving as an ambassador for the expansion of BNY Mellon’s Internal ALPFA Connectivity Group. Other professional experiences include acting as the Executive Assistant/ Office Manager for J.P. Morgan, Office Manager for Aftercare Services, Inc. and a 401 K Customer Service Representative for CitiStreet. Jenny holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Phoenix.

Damaryd Vera
Annual Framework (Theme) Lead

Damaryd is currently an Accounting Manager for the Children Hospital of Philadelphia. She acquired an Associate’s Degree in Restaurant/ Food Services Management from the Community College of Philadelphia and later graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

Valerie Peyton
Website Lead

A baseball collector at heart and unbeknownst to her, the ALPFAmilia would find Valerie during her undergraduate studies at the University of New Mexico while being a new young mother. She became a member of the ALPFA Student Chapter at the University of New Mexico in 2003, and that same year, she was able to attend the 2003 ALPFA Convention in Albuquerque thanks to a scholarship awarded by HSF/ALPFA. Impressed with the quality of the programming at the ALPFA Convention, she increased her involvement with ALPFA and became treasurer and Vice President of the ALPFA UNM Chapter. She even participated as a contestant for the KPMG Case Study Competition! Because of her efforts and dedication to ALPFA, Valerie was offered the Secretary position with the ALPFA Albuquerque Professional Board after she completed her MBA, she was nominated for President which she held for seven years, and she now holds the Past President and Interim, Director of Corporate Development positions for the ALPFA Albuquerque Professional Chapter. She sees ALPFA as an organization that allows members to give back to their respective communities. With ALPFA, she has been able to grow personally and professionally, and she “hope[s] to provide others with the same incredible opportunity to grow in their respective careers. “ Valerie is currently the Business Office Lead in the Nuclear Weapons Program Management Unit at Sandia National Laboratories. She double majored in Finance and Accounting and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico, and she also holds an MBA in Accounting from her alma mater.

Gineth Pineda
Recruiting Strategy Lead

A proud Colombiana and lover of salsa and hip-hop and everything in between, Gineth has been a proud Lifetime ALPFA member since 2011. However, her experience with the ALPFAmilia began in 2008 as a student member. Throughout her years with ALPFA, she has held various leadership positions such as Treasurer, Executive Vice President, and Director of Corporate Affairs within the Professional Seattle ALPFA Chapter. Her passion in service within the community has led her to become a mentor for high school students in the Seattle School District through the Community for Youth Program. She is also highly involved with United Way of King County and has participated in various events such as the Free Tax Preparation Campaign, Emerging Leaders, Project LEAD, among many others. Gineth enjoys volunteering at Farestart and Arts West Performing Center. Her professional career includes working in the finance field for over six years. Currently, she is a MSPBNA Tailored Lending Associate for Morgan Stanley. Previously, she was a Commercial Credit Analyst at Peoples Bank of Washington where she supported the Commercial & Industrial and Commercial Real Estate groups. She also served as a Commercial Credit Analyst, Commercial Real Estate Loan Coordinator, and as a Consumer Loan Servicing Assistant for Washing Federal Bank. Gineth graduated from Gonzaga University with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and International Business.

Ashley Alonso Harrison
Social Media Lead

With proud Dominican roots and a worldwide traveler (she has traveled to 14 countries), Ashley is joining the Women of ALPFA Strategy Development Committee as the Social Media Lead. Her ALPFA story starts after the summer of her sophomore year in college when she was able to attend the ALFPA Convention with a fellow Deloitte intern and loved learning about ALPFA and all the opportunities for growth if offers young professionals. Through ALPFA, she has had the opportunity to practice her public speaking skills and presentation skills, attend inspiration workshops and seminars on how to navigate and climb the corporate ladder for young Latina professionals. For Ashley, “ALPFA has been instrumental in [her] professional development.” Ashley’s professional experience includes interning with one of the Big Four, Deloitte, in the Video Network Operations Center (VNOC) three summers in a row. She set up virtual meetings between client sites, was responsible for troubleshooting any problems, answering client emails, creating a step by step best practices manual for a newly implemented application, acting as a customer service representative, and updating all of the application and process manuals. Currently, Ashley is a Media Streaming Specialist with Deloitte and is responsible for coordinating, managing, and executing live streaming events for Deloitte US. She graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in International Business with a concentration in Spanish from Tennessee Technological University. Her next goal is to obtain her MBA and continue climbing the ranks through an organization.
