The Regional Directors are current and past ALPFA chapter presidents with proven track records managing and growing their respective chapters who provide support to current chapter presidents in their respective regions.

Orley Pacheco, Past Chapter Leader - New Jersey Chapter
North Region

Orley is currently in a relationship executive team role with Broker Dealer Services at The Bank of New York Mellon. Orley gained his experience through his work with several teams in Portfolio Management by servicing accounts and meeting high net worth and ultra – high net worth client’s needs and expectations in Wealth Management. He was placed on several projects in this current role that touched the national and international scope of the business lines. Prior to BNY Mellon, Orley served with the United States Marine Corps on Active Duty and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Civically, Orley has been involved with the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA). Since being invited to his first ALPFA event as the (Association for Latino Professionals in Finance & Accounting) in 2005, he has always been committed to mentoring and holding his workplaces accountable to trends in diversity and inclusion. He started as a volunteer with the New York Chapter and served on several committees. He was then a part of business development with ALPFA New Jersey and helped lead the chapter to be among one of the most revered in the nation. He is earning an MBA from Cornell University and an MBA from The Queen’s University in Canada.

David Kopsch, Past President - NWA Chapter
South Region

A passionate minority and gender advocate, David has deep experience in global rewards and mobility leadership from Walmart and CP Kelco as well as small business supplier development from the U.S. Small Business Administration and Sam’s Club (the wholesale division of Walmart). Bilingual in English and Spanish, he is a member of the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and sits on the Fundraising Committee of the Alumni Advisory Board of the Trans-Atlantic Masters Program at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill (his alma mater).

Andres Reza, Past President – Twin Cities Chapter
Central Region

Andres got an accounting degree from the University of St. Thomas (MN) in 2011 and started his career in public accounting at PwC as an auditor. After gaining some experience in the audit industry he decided to try industry and went to work for Thomson Reuters supporting accounting operations and he is currently on his third role with the company as a Senior Financial Analyst where he focuses on financial planning & analysis for the Global Product Management division. Andres became a Certified Public Accountant in 2013.

Andres has always been passionate about giving back to the community and getting to know other Latinos who have had similar struggles as he did when moving to this great country. This is the reason why he decided to join ALPFA when he was a student and then became VP of Memberships after graduation. In May of 2013 Andres became the ALPFA Twin Cities President and grew the chapter exponentially from 10 to 200 members, 0 to 7 corporate sponsors and 0 to 6 events annually. During his presidency the chapter won the developing chapter of the year award in 2015.

Maria Villa-Walsh, Past President - Seattle Chapter
West Region

Maria has over 10 years of experience in compliance, risk management and finance operations. She is currently a Finance Operations Integrator at The Boeing Company. In this role, Maria is responsible for providing financial support, including performance reporting, budget management, and Long Range Business Planning (LRBP) to various business partners. Prior to Boeing, Maria was an Experienced Associate in the assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Seattle for 3 years.

Maria graduated from Seattle University, with Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Accounting and Finance. She completed the Leadership Executive Masters in Business Administration (LEMBA) program at Seattle University. Maria is a co-founder of the ALPFA Seattle Chapter, where she served as the chapter Vice President and President. Maria has been an active leader of ALPFA since 2004 and currently serves as the ALPFA West Region Director.
