As the Global Head of Client Solutions and PMO at State Street Corporation, Yvonne develops solutions for Fortune 100 companies in the financial sector by delivering superior service to clients and deploying cutting-edge technology and operational processes, and delivering complex consulting engagements for existing and potential State Street clients.  Yvonne leads a high performing global team that provides end to end services to clients from deal structures that yield optimal solutions to conversions onto State Street industry leading platforms.

Gabriel Rodriguez, Jr.

Gabe is a Director in Ernst & Young’s Global Finance (Controller's Group) organization, and currently serves as the U.S. Firm Assistant Controller. In this role, Gabe is responsible for overseeing all finance, accounting and financial reporting activities, including the monthly/quarterly/annual financial statement close process, maintaining internal controls over financial reporting, and leading the finance integration of acquired businesses, as well as business modeling, long-range forecasting, PCAOB reporting, financial analysis, decision-support, and implementation of new organizational structures, while ensuring compliance with EY's global accounting policies and U.S. statutory and regulatory requirements. In his prior role, Gabe was a Senior Manager in EY’s Assurance practice and spent 12 years providing accounting and auditing services to both publicly and privately held companies, primarily in the retail, consumer products, technology, and manufacturing industries. As a Senior Manager in EY’s Assurance practice, Gabe was primarily responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of multi-location integrated audits, which included SEC and SOX 404 compliance and reporting. He also led the coordination efforts associated with auditor transition activities and the deployment of the EY audit approach in complex global organizations. Gabe is a Certified Public Accountant (licensed in New Jersey), and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. Gabe received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the School of Business at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Hector V. Perez is the CEO and Founder of Quantum FBI, LLC, a strategic finance and business intelligence consulting firm. Hector is a results oriented senior finance executive and business leader with over 20 years of global experience across industries. During this time Hector has helped public, private and nonprofit entities improve their operating performance by bringing strategic insights to their organizations. He has a proven track record of achieving results and driving change through influence and governance. Hector has leveraged his deep analytical and leadership skills to drive growth through business development, mergers and acquisitions, strategic business planning and change management. Hector has a passion for developing talent and an ability to lead cross functional teams. Hector was Sr. Director and Head of Group Financial Planning and Analysis for TAM (TIAA Asset Management), a leading asset manager with $850 billion in assets under management. In this capacity, Hector delivered strategic business intelligence to senior leadership, TIAA CREF’s Operating Committee and the Board of Directors. Hector’s role called for close collaboration with corporate finance, corporate development, sales, legal, human resources, technology and other functional areas. Prior to TIAA, Hector was a Client Service Partner at Tatum, a management and advisory consulting firm focused on accounting, finance, technology and operations advisory services catering to the private equity industry. Hector began his career at PwC where he had a diverse career over 15 years including roles in Assurance, Transaction Services and the Office of the CFO and Vice Chairman. Hector is a graduate of Pace University, where he earned a Bachelor in Business Administration – Public Accounting degree. Hector has held various community leadership roles including National President and Chair of the Board of ALPFA, Board Members of ACG (the Association for Corporate Growth) and Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee for the Health Care Chaplaincy.

Daniel Villao

Daniel is currently the Labor Equity Manager for the City of Seattle where he directs the city’s efforts to ensure access generated by its public expenditures. He is a recognized expert on workforce development, authoring a nationally recognized book and speaking regularly at industry leading events. Since 2008, Daniel has served as President of Intelligent Partnerships a consulting group which specializes in leading strategies around innovative workforce solutions, negotiations and strategic planning in the public and private sector.

Nerelys Ortiz

Nerelys is a senior finance manager within the WW sales, marketing and services group organization at Microsoft. In this role, she supports the monthly and quarterly rhythm of finance for the SMSG CFO and partners across the global finance teams to analyze worldwide revenue trends for Microsoft. Nerelys began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Seattle within their assurance practice, serving a variety of SEC clients in the technology, information/communication, and real estate industries.

Elizabeth (Liz) Diep

Liz is a Partner with PwC’s Asset Management practice in New York, specializing in Alternative Investments. She is a recognized leader with a 15 year track record serving many of the firm’s most complex alternative investment clients. Liz earned her undergraduate degree in Accounting with a minor in Latin American Studies from Pace University. Liz is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York and Connecticut. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPA’s.

Damaris (Dee) Garcia-Schneider
NATIONAL SECRETARY

Dee is the Director of Product & Customer Insights in Deloitte's Information Technology Services (ITS)/ Deloitte Application Studio (DAS). In this role, she serves on the DAS executive team and is responsible for creating a framework to provide insights on key products through their life cycles. She has more than 18 years of experience in professional services practice operations and strategic alignment. She has extensive knowledge and experience in practice operational models and processes as well as enabling technologies. She is a dynamic, motivating and engaging speaker in the areas of career development, coaching and employee engagement, and inclusion.

Marcela Aldaz-Matos

Marcela Aldaz-Matos is a business leader with more than 20 years of combined experience in diversity and inclusion, change management, and leadership with a proven track record of delivering substantial growth in highly competitive business organizations. Working collaboratively with C-suite leaders or their direct reports, her main focus is on harnessing the business value of diversity and inclusion to yield high business impact. Marcela has extensive experience in financial services and healthcare and has managed numerous U.S. and international teams in the areas of business development and service delivery for multicultural markets locally and internationally. Marcela is a dedicated advocate for women and minorities. She is a member of ALPFA’s National Board of Directors as well as The Hispanic Scholarship Fund Advisory Committee (HSF). Her tireless dedication to diversity has been recognized by numerous organizations. Marcela earned an MBA from Simmons College School of Management in Boston. She is a scuba diver, a Reiki Master Level III and has traveled extensively around the world.

RAynaldo (Ray) C. Gonzalez

Ray has over 35 years of experience in the financial services and oil and gas industries as a regulator, banker, and consultant. He has served banks in various capacities as an executive with overall responsibilities for corporate governance and risk management programs. As a regulator, Ray performed safety & soundness and regulatory compliance examinations of national banks. As a consultant, he has provided risk management consulting and litigations support services to some of the largest banking organizations in the U.S., Mexico and Latin America. As a Director the Enterprise Risk Services Group with Deloitte & Touche, Ray provides risk management services to the Financial Services Industry.

Genaro Perez, Jr., CPA

Genaro has over 20 years of professional services & private experience. He is currently a Managing Director at RGP, responsible for creating and executing global growth strategies and managing key client relationships. Since joining Resources in 2004 he has been instrumental in leading some of his firm's largest client assignments and helping expand the firm’s business offerings. He started his career at Deloitte in the Metro New York Practice. After six years he left Deloitte as a manager and joined Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking business and Private Wealth business for four years combined. At Goldman, Genaro lead the Controller’s Hispanic Professionals Network and also led efforts for the Hispanic affinity group during this time at Deloitte’s Tri-State office. He is one of the original pioneers of ALPFA NY Chapter, served as chapter president and was featured in Hispanic Executive Magazine in 2013 as a Latino leader in the Accounting & Finance industry. He currently serves on the ALPFA's National Board, the ALPFA NY Corporate Advisory Board, and both the Baruch and Queen College ALPFA Advisory Board. Genaro is a licensed CPA and received his Bachelors in Accounting and Information Systems at Queens College.

Daniel J. Yip

Daniel is the founder and owner of Nexus Business Consulting. The company's purpose is to create and implement unique solutions for unique clients. As a business consultant and manager, he has four years of “Big Five” experience and more than twenty years overall of system implementation experience. He specializes in process improvement and re-engineering, system development, process/product support, internal controls assessment, and quality assurance. He has the CISA and CRISC designations from ISACA. A lifetime member of ALPFA, Daniel has served in numerous capacities both at the local and national levels within the organization. Since 2015, he is a member of ALPFA's national board of directors. Daniel received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Tracy LaFlamme Ortega

Tracy LaFlamme Ortega is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of PREPWORKS, one of the fastest growing education technology and tutoring companies. A graduate of Phillips Academy Andover and Vanderbilt University, Ms. LaFlamme Ortega began her career in education more than twenty years ago as an English Literature teacher. Today she leads one of the most dynamic, woman-owned ed-tech enterprises, serving students across the U.S. and around the world. As an educator-entrepreneur, Ms. LaFlamme Ortega leads a team of educational course designers, content engineers, programmers, and subject-area experts, who together have built a multiple award-winning e-learning platform that is disrupting the way students learn and achieve on pre-college and pre-career standardized assessments. She has spoken at national and international events on the subject of education technology and emerging trends in adaptive learning and content creation. Ms. LaFlamme Ortega is a mother of three young women, and is an active member of the Woman’s President Organization (WPO).

Josuel Plasencia is a 21-year old social entrepreneur, youth advocate and community leader who has been featured on NBC, ABC, PBS, C-SPAN and in the Wall St. Journal. Josuel brought his passion to the #1 school for entrepreneurship in the United States (U.S. News and World Report), Babson College. There he co-founded Project 99, a startup focused on inclusive entrepreneurship, which piloted its first program in August 2015 in the Dominican Republic. Project 99's brought together 20 students for 4 days, sponsored and made possible by Delta Airlines, Deloitte Dominican Republic, Grupo Rica, Grupo Corripio, the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, ALPFA and the Clinton Global Initiative. Josuel currently sits on the Alumni Leadership Council of the National Academy Foundation, an organization that turned the course of his life around in high school. He is also a public speaker (Gotham Hall, The Museum of Finance, Rooftop at Tribeca and Cipriani Wall Street), focusing on the impact non-profit programs have on a young person’s life, such as ALPFA, Junior Achievement, the National Academy Foundation and Virtual Enterprises International had in him.
