Hector V. Perez is the CEO and Founder of Quantum FBI, LLC, a strategic finance and business intelligence consulting firm. Hector is a results oriented senior finance executive and business leader with over 20 years of global experience across industries.
During this time Hector has helped public, private and nonprofit entities improve their operating performance by bringing strategic insights to their organizations. He has a proven track record of achieving results and driving change through influence and governance. Hector has leveraged his deep analytical and leadership skills to drive growth through business development, mergers and acquisitions, strategic business planning and change management.
Hector has a passion for developing talent and an ability to lead cross functional teams. Hector was Sr. Director and Head of Group Financial Planning and Analysis for TAM (TIAA Asset Management), a leading asset manager with $850 billion in assets under management. In this capacity, Hector delivered strategic business intelligence to senior leadership, TIAA CREF’s Operating Committee and the Board of Directors.
Hector’s role called for close collaboration with corporate finance, corporate development, sales, legal, human resources, technology and other functional areas. Prior to TIAA, Hector was a Client Service Partner at Tatum, a management and advisory consulting firm focused on accounting, finance, technology and operations advisory services catering to the private equity industry.
Hector began his career at PwC where he had a diverse career over 15 years including roles in Assurance, Transaction Services and the Office of the CFO and Vice Chairman. Hector is a graduate of Pace University, where he earned a Bachelor in Business Administration – Public Accounting degree.
Hector has held various community leadership roles including National President and Chair of the Board of ALPFA, Board Members of ACG (the Association for Corporate Growth) and Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee for the Health Care Chaplaincy.
