PRESIDENT

Helio Lopez

Helio is a Director in the Financial Transformation and Technology Services department of MetLife in Tampa where he has worked for over fifteen years. He has held several positions at MetLife ranging from managing the general ledger accounting functions for the enterprise and supporting and leading multiple projects such as the installation of various control improvements and initiatives, middleware applications and new general ledger packages and upgrades.

Currently, Helio is overseeing the implementation of the PeopleSoft ERP modules in LatAm with a focus on Mexico. Prior to this engagement, he oversaw the configuration of PeopleSoft GL, AP and AM modules for the EMEA region, with a focus on countries in the Middle East.  Additionally, Helio has been a key member of the oversight committee ensuring a consistent application of system customizations as well as business processes within the regional PeopleSoft ERP systems. Previously, he led a large scale project to centralize the generation of accounting transactions as the business program manager with a matrix organization of over 50 partners across business and technology departments. Helio takes pride in leading his teams by example, fostering a team environment and ensuring his team has the appropriate tools and training to succeed.

Helio received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Central Florida.   Helio has been an active ALPFA member since 2006 and is an ongoing supporter of Junior Achievement, the MetLife Mentorship program and MetLife’s Local Inclusion Team.

 


  

PAST PRESIDENT

Evelyn Beltran

 

Evelyn is a Senior Manager for US Security with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Tampa, FL. She has been with the firm 10 years, and is responsible for implementing programs that mitigate the firm's risk and protect its assets, people, property and information in the most cost effective way possible. In addition, she has is responsible for the implementation of the firm’s global business continuity initiative which will build resiliency for the firm.  Prior to PwC, Evelyn had acquired over 30+ years of managerial experience in banking with JP Morgan in their Mortgage Division and with Citigroup in their Security Division.

Evelyn is a member of the Diversity Forum at PwC, where she focuses on coaching others by, providing insight into how to develop, network and/or strengthen relationships, helping  individuals see the value they bring to the firm and most importantly create a supportive climate for change.

Evelyn has been a member of ALPFA since 2006. She has served on the Tampa Bay ALPFA Chapter as the Director of Events, Treasurer, Vice President, the Board President and as of October 2015 the Past President. Evelyn has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Eckerd College.


 

VICE PRESIDENT

Ana Catalina Garcia

Ana has a dual Bachelor’s degree in International Business and French. She went to the University of South Florida for her undergraduate and attended IESEG School of Management in Lille, France for her masters. She currently works at PwC under Internal Firm Services. She is responsible for providing customer driven administrative support to dynamic and busy partners/MDs of the firm. Prior to PwC she worked at Citibank as an analyst in the Corporate Actions department and in Trade Middle Office, on the foreign exchange LatAm desk.

 

Ana has been involved with ALPFA since 2009 when she was part of the USF chapter and then later became part of the professional chapter. She has taken different roles on the board, from student chapter president to events director, and currently vice president.

 

Ana enjoys traveling. She has lived in Paris, Bogota, and New York, and speaks English, Spanish and French.  She values diversity and inclusiveness and has an interest for coaching and developing professional leaders. She thinks cultivating the soul of true leaders is important for our businesses and communities to prosper.  


  

SECRETARY

Stacey Salvatto-Randolph

Stacey is a Senior Financial Analyst in the Financial Management Group in Tampa. She is responsible for accurate Quarterly Financial Supplement (QFS) reporting of expenses for the Latin America region. Additionally, she is involved in the Budget process reporting Latin America expenses for each Budget submission to senior management. She has been in this role two years.

Previously, she worked in regulatory reporting at MetLife in Tampa and worked to ensure GAAP reporting requirements and guidelines were met. Her responsibilities included, preparing core financial statements for legal entities, preparation of 10-K’s, 10-Q’s and 8-K’s for a reporting entity, and ensuring SEC legal entities are XBRL compliant.  Prior to taking the regulatory reporting role she worked as a Business Analyst with MetLife.

Stacey has been with MetLife for ten years and has a Master of Science in Management with a major in Risk Management and Insurance from Florida State University. In addition she has Bachelors of Science degrees in Finance and in Multinational Business from Florida State University.  Prior to joining MetLife she worked at Merrill Lynch working with high net worth clients.

Stacey has been a part of ALPFA since 2008 and currently serves as the secretary. She also served as the Director of Student Affairs for the Tampa chapter from 2009-2015.

 DIRECTOR OF WOMEN OF ALPFA PROGRAMS

Thais Rodriguez-Caez

Thais is an Assurance Senior Manager at Ernst and Young LLP in Tampa, FL. She started her career in the Atlanta, GA office of the firm. Thais has over twelve years of experience providing audit and assurance services for a range of public and private companies across a variety of industries, including retail and distribution, financial services, public sector, and not-for-profit. She also has experience working on audits of internal control related to Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, on multi-location audits, on benefit plan audits, and on audits related to compliance with OMB Circular A-133 and the Florida Single Audit Act.

Thais received a Bachelor in Science in Business Administration Degree, with a Concentration in Marketing, from the University of Florida. In addition, she received a Master in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Georgia and in the State of Florida. She is a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of CPAs, the American Society of Women Accountants, and the National Association of Professional Women.

In 2010, Thais was recognized as a “2010 Up & Comer, Under 30” by the Tampa Bay Business Journal and was also recognized as one of the "Top 10 Latina Movers and Shakers" by Latin Times Magazine.

Thais has been a member of ALPFA since 2004 and has served as the Director of Student Affairs and the Secretary for the Atlanta ALPFA Chapter. She served as the Director of Information Technology for the Tampa Chapter from 2007 to 2008. She served as the Director of Information Technology from 2007 to 2008 and as the Vice President from 2009 to 2010 for the Tampa ALPFA Chapter. She served as the Chapter's Treasurer since 2010.  She has held her current role as the Director of Women of ALPFA programs since 2008.

Steven Cantillo

Steven Cantillo is a Tax Manager within the Employee Financial Services group at Ernst & Young LLP in Tampa , FL, where he has been serving clients since 2007. Currently, he is responsible for maintaining and growing business relationships by serving as the main point of contact for clients and partners, as well as managing projects, including financials and reporting.

During his time at EY, Steven has provided educational services through one-on-one counseling, as well as live presentations, to employees from a number of Fortune 500 companies and Not-For-Profit organizations. He has presented on topics ranging from Investment Planning to Personal Risk Management to audiences as large as 400+ participants.

Steven obtained his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Business Management and Finance from Montclair State University in Upper Montclair, NJ. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant and a member of the Financial Planning Association in Tampa.
