The 50 Most Powerful Latinas in Corporate America, ALPFA Announces Groundbreaking List and Summit

About ALPFA New York

The ALPFA New York Chapter embarked on a journey last year to reorganize our structure. One key change was the establishment of a Senior Leadership Council (SLC) comprised of the senior-most Latino and Latina leaders from Corporate America. These leaders represent the best of New York, and they provide much needed mentorship and guidance to our Chapter as we grow to new levels. Additionally, they are instrumental in helping our members connect more closely with rewarding careers in Corporate America.

Our SLC members are:

I am happy to share with you that we are making progress in establishing our very own ALPFA New York Chapter CEO Advisory Board, which we will be able to announce in the weeks to come. This and many other initiatives will help us attain a level of further growth as a leading non-profit in New York City.

Our corporate partners continue to take advantage of our recruiting drives, professional development and training activities, seminars and other gatherings. More and more partners have also successfully hosted Influencer Event Series, where senior Latino and Latina executives with 15 years or more experience have a peer-to-peer facilitated discussion in a bespoke setting.

In addition, our membership has grown steadily and we are at about 10,000 students and professionals, making New York the largest ALPFA Chapter in the country. Our student programs are robust and represent 16 college chapters, and great events such as the Student Leadership Retreats and pre-convention workshops.

On May 20, ALPFA will announce the 50 Most Powerful Latinasin Corporate America, in partnership with Fortune Magazine. This first annual Summit gathers high profile speakers that will conduct one-on-one interactive interviews, breakout sessions, panel discussions, and high-level networking opportunities. The Summit, limited to only 100 invitation-only attendees, culminates with a formal and open-to-all fundraiser with a live and silent auction taking place during the evening (more details and to see items for auction go to www.501auctions.com/alpfa). The event will take place at the Low Memorial Library, Columbia University in New York City. To learn more, please visit alpfa.org/mostpowefullatinas
