2017 Financial Education Series Event 2
To ensure the satisfaction of our members and promote growth within our region, ALPFA Boston has created a Financial Education Series. The second event of these series will help our audience understand some of the choices available for individual retirement planning. This is a key component in building a financial foundation. The Financial Education Team will bring together a panel of experts to help our members analyze the value of retirement planning. The topics covered will be social security, the types of employer-sponsored plans available, and private savings.

Colleen Brisport is a Benefits Advisor with the Boston Regional Office of the U. S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration. As a Benefits Advisor, Ms. Brisport provides technical assistance and customer service to employers and employees in private sector retirement and welfare benefit plans. She also does outreach and education on the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and related laws throughout New England and upstate New York.
Ms. Brisport has a BS in Industrial Labor Relations from Cornell University, MA in Human Rights from Columbia University and is a graduate of New England Law |Boston.
