Jenny Cruz Predroza

JENNY CRUZ PEDROZA has been licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois since 2001. She has also been admitted before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. A graduate of The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Jenny was a Member and Staff Editor of The John Marshall Law Review. Jenny received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from DePaul University in 1998.

As a solo practitioner doing business as THE LAW OFFICE OF JENNY CRUZ PEDROZA LLC, Jenny’s areas of concentration are estate planning matters, including Wills, Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, as well as Probate and Guardianship. She serves a predominately Spanish speaking community. The need for Spanish speaking attorneys who concentrate in these areas of the law is great. Jenny regularly holds informational estate planning sessions in the community and her firm’s marketing efforts include radio and TV advertising to bring awareness of the importance of these issues. Many families who have children with disabilities, whether adults or minors, are not armed with all of the options for estate planning and protection of assets when receiving government assistance.

Jenny has held various board positions, most notably, as Secretary of the Puerto Rican Bar Association of Illinois and the Latin United Community Housing Association in Chicago. She is currently a member of WealthCounsel, a nationwide organization of estate planning attorneys, the South Suburban Estate Planning Council of Illinois, the American Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.

Jenny feels that her greatest legal contributions to the community have been imparting the knowledge of the law especially in the areas of estate planning options and special needs planning to those most in need of the information. A great sense of satisfaction is derived when potential clients are first armed with all of the information necessary to make an estate planning choice to protect those they love and who may become vulnerable after their passing.

Jenny is also a mom of three young children, Natalie (Age 8), Ernesto (Age 6) and Maximilian (Age 3).
